After your massage and/ or healing treatment, it's important that you follow the aftercare advice:
Treatment times are displayed next to each treatment detailed on our treatment page. Whilst these are the times for the actual treatment duration, please always allow additional time for your consulation, and then feedback and aftercare.
Please note: Treatments can sometimes run for less or longer times than you will see specified in the booking process.
We accept cash, BACS transfer and card payments. If you wish to pay by cash, we kindly ask that you bring the correct amount as we don't keep change in the salon. If paying by BACS, bank details will be provided for you to make an online bank transfer at the end of your treatment.
We have a strict cancellation policy in place. If you wish to amend or cancel your appointment, this must be done at least 48 hours before your scheduled booking time. Any changes made within the 48 hour period will incur a charge of 50% of the treatment. Not turning up to your appointment on the day will mean 100% of your treatment will be charged for.
Upon booking your appointment, you will be required to enter card details to secure your space. No payment is taken unless you are cancelling within the 48 hour notice period, or you simply don't show up to your appointment on the day without prior notification.
If you wish to pay by cash or bank transfer on the day, instead or the card you provided on the booking system, you can do this and your card will not be debited.
You will receive a reminder of your appointment via text meassge 24 hours before. Please get in touch as soon as possible if you wish to amend/ cancel your booking. This can be completed online and by phone and emai.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Upon arrival, all new clients will be asked to complete an initial consulation form with emergency contact information and details of any medical history. Existing clients will be asked to review this information during each appointment and update accordingly.
If you are going to be delayed due to unforsceen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please be aware that we can only accept a maximum of a 15 minute delay for your appointment. Any longer than this and we will need to reschedule and you will be liable for the cancellation fee.
Please be aware that we do not offer refunds or exchanges on any of our treatments. If you are unhappy with the treatment or service you have received, please let us know immediately during your appointment and we can try and fix the problem for you there and then. You will not be able to claim money back at a later date.
Gift vouchers can be purchased in the cabin and by contacting us directly. Please let us know if you wish to have either the treatment title or the value of the treatment written on the voucher at the time of purchasing.
All vouchers are given a 12 month expiry date in which treatments can be booked, and the voucher redeemed. Please be aware that appointments booked using a voucher are still subject to our cancellation policy, late arrival policy and refund policy under our terms and conditions.
A gift voucher cannot be used after the expiry date and any remaining balance will be removed, and the code will become invalid and no longer available for use. We have no obligation to remind or inform you of a gift vouchers expiry date and it is your sole responsibility to ensure that any balance is used in full prior to expiry. Please book your appointment using your voucher in advance to avoid disappointment.
If a recipient is unable to attend before the expiry date for any reason, the voucher may be used by someone else on their behalf. However, the original expiry date will still remain.
The only exception where a voucher will be extended past the expiry date is if Yugen Cabin has to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to unforsceen circumstances, or if Covid-19 restrictions result in us being closed due to a lockdown.
If you are expecting, we cannot complete any treatments within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. As you move into your second trimester, if your GP/midwife deems it safe for you to do so with a medical note, you may visit and have treatments adapted to what is most suitable for you. It is very important that you make your therapist aware of your pregnancy so that we can look after you in the best way possible. Becky can discuss all treatment options with you.
